MEET THE COMMITTEE
The club primarily consists of the President, the Secretary, and six core teams.
Each team is responsible for a specific aspect of the club's operations, ensuring that everything runs smoothly and efficiently. The President and Secretary oversee the overall functioning of the club, while the core teams handle specialized tasks such as digital media, editorial work, events and operations, community relations, website management, and marketing & public relations. Together, they form a cohesive unit that drives the success of the AMI Astro Club.

THE CORE TEAMS
DIGITAL MEDIA
Responsible for the photography and videography of the club's events and activities. They capture high-quality images and videos, edit them, and manage the club's visual content for social media and other platforms.
EDITORIAL
Manages the club's publications, including newsletters, articles, and other written content. They ensure that all written materials are accurate, well-written, and aligned with the club's mission and values.
EVENTS & OPERATIONS
Organizes and manages the club's events such as talks, workshops, and lectures. They handle logistics, coordinate with speakers and volunteers, and ensure that events run smoothly.
COMMUNITY RELATIONS
Responsible for building and maintaining relationships with the local community, including schools, universities, and other organizations. They organize outreach programs and collaborate with external partners to promote astronomy education and awareness.
WEBSITE MANAGEMENT
Their job is to make sure the website is up to date, and that it works on all devices. They also make sure that the website is accessible and user-friendly.
MARKETING & PR
Responsible for promoting the club and its events to the public. They create marketing materials, manage public relations, and work to increase the club's visibility in the community.
